Recipes

I only publish recipes I am proud to put my name against. Things I truely love. After emailing my banana loaf recipe around for the nth time, I decided blogging them would enable me to collate all of those scraps of paper that hold my nearest and dearest recipes, and also enable me to share them with my friends.

In all recipes here on my site, I like to use organic free-range eggs, free-range meat, stone-ground flour, organic vegetables (homegrown if lucky) and minimise the use (where possible) of any preservatives or processed foods. For example, if I cook with sugar, I use raw sugar.

I don’t believe in using ‘corn fed’ beef or chicken. These are higher in fat, and let’s face it, cows are meant to eat grass. The closer the food is to it’s natural source, the happier I am! I don’t write this into my recipes, because the choice is yours as to what you do with them.
